Our Boats

Meet MAKAI.

Not too big, not too small — just right. Our flagship was custom built for Makai Adventures and has been on the water since December 20, 2025.

Why this boat

It looks like a raft. It isn’t one.

“Everybody ran rafts, and we thought we’d be different. Even today, our raft isn’t a true raft. It’s a solid aluminum hull with foam collars. If you removed the collars, there would be a solid aluminum hull behind them.”Keao, owner and captain

At 15 feet wide and 41 feet long, MAKAI is extra stable. There’s cushioned outward-facing and perimeter seating, and the boat is mostly shaded, so whether you’re whale watching, fishing or cruising the coastline, you’re not just baking in the sun.

Most of the seats are in the front of the boat, and every guest could sit up front if they wanted. A few seats are in the back next to the engines; anywhere forward of the helm, it’s pretty quiet.

Getting in and out

Easy in, easy out.

“When entering and exiting the water it’s super easy. A lot of boats have vertical ladders, and on some you have to climb all the way up and over the tubes. We have four dedicated water entries and exits and two onboard showers.”Keao

The inflatable lily pad lives on the canopy, which works much better than the roll-out kind, and it gives you somewhere to hang out at the snorkel spot.
